Hidria GIF Ventilated ceiling

For 30 years, Hidria GIF has designed and installed more than 300,000 square metres of ventilated ceilings Worldwide.

Ventilated ceilings and their advantages within a modern commercial kitchen:

The Hidria GIF ventilated ceiling creates a really comfortable working atmosphere as air is supplied draught-free (for e.g. with 0,2 m/s).

Compared to conventional hoods a ventilated ceiling represents a “ready-to-cook” solution. The complete ventilated ceiling is supplied by one company, including all ceiling components for exhaust/supply air, integrated luminaries and installation material.

Ideally constructed in a way that almost the ventilated entire ceiling can be easily taken down, it allows you to clean all components in the dishwashing machine, which fulfils all hygienic standards of a modern kitchen. This due to a modular system with dimensions of 500x500 mm. This saves maintenance costs.

The construction of the Hidria GIF ventilated ceiling is so, that in the event of a fire in the kitchen, the flames do not penetrate the cassettes and therefore all installations and ductwork in the plenum are protected.

Hidria GIF Ventilated ceilings requires less air compared to conventional hoods. Besides the effect of energy saving, this in turn saves investment costs (smaller fans, smaller ducts, dampers etc).

Space saving
The MKN development team has accomplished a real space saving wonder with the HansDampf Compact Combi oven. The slim combi oven is only 55 cm wide and offers, in spite of its small measurements, a lot of capacity for professional 1/1 GN sizes. Approximately 40% less space compared with standard combi ovens.

Easy Cleaning
The cleaning system functions on the proven dishwasher principle; cleaning water is circulated in a closed system. Even in the toughest cleaning cycle, the water consumption is remarkably low. WaveClean offers you lots of advantages; it saves time, it saves money and it saves space in the commercial kitchen when compared to conventional liquid cleaning systems. WaveClean works with patented two-in-one cartridges and does not need bulky storage containers. Safe: The detergent is contained in a cartridge behind a protective wax seal. You have no physical contact with the chemicals.


DynaSteam
Always as much steam as you actually need; the steam is dynamically controlled during the entire cooking process with maintenance free DynaSteam technology. At first, rapid and precise steam saturation is carried out and afterwards a reduction down to 40%. This saves water and energy and provides optimal food quality.


Auto-Reverse fan
The Auto-reverse fan provides balanced air distribution in the cooking chamber, so you can achieve extraordinary consistent results, especially with sensitive bakery products.


Auto-shower
Always perfectly clean even between two cooking processes. With the integrated shower system the cooking chamber can be easily rinsed out by the push of a simple button.

High quality coking chamber
The cooking chamber is made of highly polished stainless steel with seamless curves and is equipped with easily removable hygienic racks, manufactured in one piece with stable shelf runners.

Technical service is made easy; the diagnostic system can be displayed directly on the monitor and the electronic components are easily accessible, for maintenance, from the front.
